Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI-powered features, integrate LLMs with existing products and systems
  • Instrument evaluations, guardrails, monitoring; review customer usage to improve quality
  • Collaborate with AI Platform engineers on foundational systems and tooling
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs balancing business priorities, UX, and technical foundation
  • Mentor engineers, champion technical/product instincts, foster collaborative culture

Requirements

  • At least 7 years industry experience as software engineer
  • Shipped LLM-backed products; experience with prompting, RAG, agent frameworks
  • Designed/built/scaled full-stack apps (backend, APIs, frontend); familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js
  • Improved AI systems, created eval sets, drove quality improvements
  • Mentored engineers, collaborated with product/design teams
  • Experience at scaling startups/large companies with bias for action
