Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered features, integrate LLMs with existing products and systems
- Instrument evaluations, guardrails, monitoring; review customer usage to improve quality
- Collaborate with AI Platform engineers on foundational systems and tooling
- Make pragmatic tradeoffs balancing business priorities, UX, and technical foundation
- Mentor engineers, champion technical/product instincts, foster collaborative culture
Requirements
- At least 7 years industry experience as software engineer
- Shipped LLM-backed products; experience with prompting, RAG, agent frameworks
- Designed/built/scaled full-stack apps (backend, APIs, frontend); familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js
- Improved AI systems, created eval sets, drove quality improvements
- Mentored engineers, collaborated with product/design teams
- Experience at scaling startups/large companies with bias for action
