Owns end-to-end Hong Kong payroll operations, filings, payments, partner coordination, and issue resolution while helping product and engineering teams improve payroll capabilities. Requires 4+ years of Hong Kong payroll experience, client-facing experience, and strong knowledge of local regulations.

Responsibilities
- Execute timely payroll, filings, and payments for all customers across Hong Kong.
- Drive issue resolution and communication with government agencies and external partners.
- Interface directly with customers and resolve payroll issues on their behalf.
- Work with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure payroll software supports payroll and tax compliance requirements.
- Ensure product bugs and issues, including calculation and file-generation errors, are addressed quickly.
- Prioritize and implement internal tooling requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Hong Kong payroll processing role.
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
- Direct experience running payroll with local Hong Kong payroll software.
- Deep expertise in Hong Kong payroll and the ability to run end-to-end payroll processes.
- Experience processing payroll in accordance with company guidelines, social security, legislation, and local tax requirements.
- Ability to review and validate calculations.
- Understanding of payroll concepts and regulations.
- Experience with payroll-related systems and software.
- Deep understanding of leave entitlements.
- Good knowledge of labor legislation.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience running payroll in additional APAC countries.
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially Docs, Sheets, and Excel, for data analysis and task organization.
- Familiarity with Salesforce queues, JIRA, and Confluence.
