Staff Product Manager

Staff Product Manager responsible for the vision, prioritization, and delivery of Cribl’s Core Search platform and integrations. The role requires customer-facing product management experience, strong big-data and analytics expertise, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize features, bugs, and project ideas with PM leads and peer PMs, maintaining a coordinated roadmap.
  • Negotiate feature prioritization with Engineering Management based on resources and competing requests.
  • Present roadmaps and investigate use cases with customers and partners.
  • Maintain the development backlog in alignment with company strategy and team goals.
  • Provide status visibility to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assess the fiscal cost-benefit and licensing impact of integrations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to define key use cases and enable the field with supporting materials.
  • Develop public product resources, including videos, blogs, and talks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify gaps in product offerings and enablement.
  • Monitor integration effectiveness using product metrics and stakeholder feedback.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Search integrations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of customer-facing Product Management experience.
  • Experience in observability, metrics, analytics, cybersecurity, big data system integrations, or SaaS.
  • Experience with big data and analytics products and query languages such as SQL, KQL, or SPL.
  • Understanding of data challenges at terabyte and petabyte scale.
  • Knowledge of network protocols for data transport and data structures for processing and storage.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and Atlassian products, especially Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage complex data integration systems and multiple programs and priorities.
  • Strong project management, written communication, verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Experience with a free Cribl sandbox.
  • Strategic mindset, attention to detail, self-direction, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $190,000–$230,000 USD.
  • Eligible employees may participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program; sales and some sales-adjacent roles may be eligible for incentive compensation.
