Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead high-priority strategic programs across Nuro Driver, including initiatives tied to autonomy product maturity, partner readiness, deployment milestones, and commercialization.
- Create structure around ambiguous technical and business problems, turning broad goals into clear workstreams, owners, timelines, risks, and decision points.
- Drive cross-organizational initiatives involving Nuro Driver, AI Platform, Vehicle Platform & Hardware, Safety, Operations, Legal, Finance, and People.
- Partner with technical leaders to identify critical paths, resolve dependencies, unblock progress, and escalate issues with the right context and urgency.
- Ensure complex initiatives move from discussion to decision to execution, with clear accountability and follow-through.
Autonomy Product & Partner Execution
- Support strategic partner initiatives by coordinating across technical, product, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Help define the right forums, processes, and artifacts to align partner expectations with Nuro Driver’s roadmap and execution plans.
- Identify gaps between partner requirements, internal technical readiness, and deployment milestones, then drive the work needed to close them.
VP of Nuro Driver Proxy & Executive Support
- Operate as a trusted proxy for the VP of Nuro Driver in key forums, helping drive decisions, clarify priorities, and ensure follow-through.
- Act as a strategic filter for the VP, ensuring leadership time and organizational energy are focused on the highest-impact initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level narratives, updates, and materials for company leadership, Board meetings, partner discussions, planning forums, and strategic reviews.
- Provide insight into organizational execution, leadership effectiveness, operating gaps, and priority tradeoffs.
- Represent the VP’s priorities with clarity and judgment while knowing when to escalate, align, or drive independently.
Nuro Driver Operating Cadence
- Improve Nuro Driver’s operating cadence across planning, decision-making, communication, and execution.
- Facilitate leadership meetings, technical reviews, milestone reviews, offsites, and cross-functional operating forums.
- Drive clear communication and reporting across all levels of the organization, including leadership updates, all-hands, planning reviews, and company-level forums.
- Proactively identify execution risks, organizational gaps, and cross-functional dependencies before they become blockers.
- Help the organization operate with sharper priorities, faster decision-making, and stronger accountability.
People & Organizational Initiatives
- Partner with the People Team and Nuro Driver leadership on recruiting, onboarding, performance, talent reviews, engagement, learning and development, and retention initiatives.
- Support organizational design and operating model work as Nuro Driver scales across autonomy, embedded software, controls, calibration, systems, validation, and commercial milestones.
- Help reinforce a high-performance technical culture centered on ownership, speed, quality, accountability, and clear decision-making.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management, business operations, product/program management, engineering operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field.
- Experience working closely with engineering teams, ideally in robotics, autonomy, embedded systems, controls, calibration, systems engineering, AI, automotive, or another complex product development environment.
- Track record of driving complex, high-impact programs across multiple teams, senior stakeholders, and ambiguous problem spaces, proactively creating structure and turning strategy into rigorous execution in fast-moving environments.
- Ability to quickly understand technical and product context, identify what matters, and translate complexity into clear, actionable decisions and communication, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable acting as a proxy for senior engineering leadership: representing priorities, building trust across technical and non-technical partners (engineering, product, operations, finance, legal, people, and executive teams), driving alignment, and influencing without direct authority.
- Experience preparing materials for executive audiences, partner discussions, Board meetings, or senior leadership forums.
Nice-to-Haves

- MBA, experience working at a top consulting firm, or similar experience.
- Fluency in using AI tools.
Compensation
Base pay range: $193930 - $291150 (depends on experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills). Eligible for annual performance bonus, equity, and competitive benefits package.
