About the role

Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound leads and qualify “in-market” opportunities
  • Prospect into assigned target accounts and self-source new opportunities
  • Cold call regularly and run multichannel outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
  • Meet activity expectations: minimum of 80-100+ calls a day, sourcing 60-75 new contacts per week
  • Research accounts, identify the right buyers, and tailor messaging
  • Build sequences that create urgency and drive replies
  • Develop a clear account POV (why now, why Tiger Data, why it matters) and earn meetings
  • Partner with AEs to align on account strategy, messaging, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in Salesforce and related tools
  • Attend industry conferences and events as needed

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in sales/business development, or finance, consulting, or a related analytical field
  • Self-motivated self-starter with a history of hitting ambitious targets
  • Grit and resilience: stay consistent through rejection, learn fast, and keep iterating
  • Comfortable cold calling and using the phone as a primary channel
  • Confidently engage senior stakeholders and build trust quickly
  • Thrive in a startup environment: comfortable with ambiguity, move fast, and turn loose direction into clear execution
  • Entrepreneurial, builder mindset: proactively improve plays, messaging, and process, and seek and apply feedback quickly
  • Strong time management and ability to balance multiple priorities and challenging targets

Nice-to-Haves

  • 1+ years in a customer-facing role including cold calling (sales, SDR/BDR, recruiting, fundraising, or similar)
  • Experience engaging technical audiences
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach, Apollo, Google Workspace

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated on target earnings for Austin, TX based employees: $80,000 - $90,000 OTE ($55,000 - $63,000 base + variable)
