Lead the Facilities Production Engineering Team
- Hire, set priorities, ensure delivery, and maintain on-call health for the team.
- Own the roadmap that connects site needs to engineering output, prioritized by fleet impact.
- Run the operating rhythm with site operators to ensure the team builds what operations actually need.
- Grow engineers across the OT/IT boundary, developing a rare hybrid skill set.
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering teams that ship into operational environments.
- Proven ability to balance roadmap work against interrupt-driven site support without letting either starve.
- Experience hiring for rare hybrid skill sets and developing people into them when the market provides none.
- Track record of teams continuing to ship effectively even when the pager is loud.
