Marketing Financial Manager

Manages Marketing’s OPEX budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, accruals, and financial decision support while partnering with senior Marketing and Finance stakeholders. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of corporate finance or FP&A experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Marketing’s total OPEX budget, including headcount and payroll modeling and program spend tracking across 10 Marketing functions.
  • Lead strategic financial planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling for the Marketing organization.
  • Partner with Marketing leadership on in-quarter budget pacing, spend discipline, and reallocating uncommitted funds.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end accruals and close processes, and with Procurement/Sourcing on PR and PO workflows.
  • Perform financial analyses, ROI evaluations, and decision support for marketing programs, vendor renewals, and organizational changes.
  • Modernize forecasting workflows with FP&A systems, data analytics, and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance experience, preferably in high-growth technology or enterprise SaaS.
  • Experience managing high-volume OPEX budgets of $50M+, complex PO tracking, vendor accruals under US GAAP, and headcount forecasting across multifunctional teams.
  • Ability to work independently with Director- and VP-level leaders and communicate financial concepts clearly.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise FP&A platforms, ERP systems, and HCM or recruiting systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • FP&A experience supporting Marketing or GTM functions and partnering with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Experience modernizing financial workflows, automating manual tasks, and using data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI-assisted financial tools.
  • Ability to connect marketing and sales performance metrics to business growth and ROI.

Compensation

  • Estimated annual pay ranges vary by eligible location: $116,960–$146,200; $123,760–$154,700; or $137,520–$206,280.
  • May be eligible for equity and a corporate bonus plan.
