Music Studio Demos and Songwriting Camps Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end writing camp and studio activation experiences, including technical setup, on-site logistics, creative facilitation, and post-camp wrap-up.
• Serve as the primary liaison and educator during camps and studio activations through live demos, hands-on guidance, and real-time troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate how AI tools can augment ideation, production, and experimentation in the music-making process.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers, beta test new features in creative settings, and communicate artist needs and feedback.
• Document and synthesize camp learnings, technical issues, artist feedback, and creative discoveries into actionable product insights.
• Support the Director of Artist Partnerships in refining camp and studio activation approaches.
• Travel frequently across the United States and occasionally internationally, managing on-site production and technical elements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at music or technology companies, bridging creative and technical domains.
• Exceptional communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to creative audiences and translating creative needs into technical requirements.
• Background as a musician, producer, and/or artist.
• Expert-level knowledge of music production, studio operations, recording techniques, and contemporary music workflows across multiple genres.
• Strong relationships with artists, producers, recording studio staff, and music industry professionals.
• Passion for music, creativity, and emerging technology, with enthusiasm for empowering artists to use AI creatively.
• Experience with Suno or the ability to rapidly learn new music production platforms.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product-focused roles at technology or music companies.
• B.S. degree in Music, Computer Science, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $120,000–$170,000, before equity.
