Community and Member Advocacy Manager

Responsibilities

Member Meet-Up Program

  • Recruit, onboard, and support members organizing local meet-ups.
  • Coordinate outreach campaigns, event communications, RSVPs, and follow-up.
  • Maintain program trackers, event calendars, waivers, contact lists, and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary contact for highly engaged members.
  • Evaluate the program and recommend improvements to participation, efficiency, and scalability.

Member Community Management

  • Monitor comments and direct messages across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Respond to member questions and conversations in a warm, thoughtful, on-brand voice.
  • Escalate member support issues through the community care process.
  • Track social care cases and ensure resolution.
  • Share recurring feedback, questions, and trends with Communications and Member teams.
  • Follow community guidelines and privacy standards, moving conversations to private support channels when needed.

Member Stories and Advocacy

  • Identify members with compelling health journeys for marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate outreach, storytelling intake, marketing waivers, and approvals.
  • Maintain a searchable internal library of member stories and testimonial assets.
  • Track permissions, waivers, story status, and approved usage.
  • Follow up with member advocates and nurture long-term relationships.

Contract Deliverables

  • Activate 15 new ambassadors and launch member meet-ups in 10 new priority markets.
  • Increase meaningful community engagement through timely, thoughtful interactions.
  • Identify and activate approximately 25 or more members for PR, conference, event, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience coordinating community programs, ambassador programs, or customer events.
  • Experience working directly with customers or members in a relationship-focused role.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns or collecting customer testimonials.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and meaningful connections.
  • Experience with social media community management or customer care platforms such as Sprout Social.
  • Experience with program management applications, including Google Suite.
  • Experience with tracking or monitoring tools such as Amplitude or Ahrefs.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive health-related conversations with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Proactive use of AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.

Compensation

  • Part-time contract role.
  • 20 hours per week for 12 weeks.
  • Compensation: $45–$50 per hour.
