Senior Onboarding Manager - API Platform

Responsibilities

• Own the location onboarding metric, ensuring locations successfully go live and begin billing.
• Run enterprise migrations end to end, including scope, sequencing, ownership, milestones, dependencies, and weekly operating cadence.
• Establish written ownership across NexHealth and customer teams and hold both sides accountable.
• Build customer capability through train-the-trainer programs, runbooks, install guides, troubleshooting trees, training, certification, and escalation paths.
• Set joint throughput targets for locations provisioned, installed, and live.
• Activate new developer customers and convert pilots into production customers.
• Build onboarding plans with agreed responsibilities, timelines, phase gates, and success measures.
• Manage migration schedules across thousands of locations and report pipeline, live locations, risks, blockers, and revenue realization.
• Drive technical questions to resolution and coordinate with Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Account Management, Support, and Sales.
• Create repeatable templates, checklists, standard timelines, and playbooks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, technical program management, or customer success at a SaaS or API-first company.
• Experience owning delivery against committed dates.
• Track record of managing large, multi-month rollouts across hundreds or thousands of sites, endpoints, or locations.
• Experience jointly authoring implementation plans with customers, negotiating ownership, and holding both sides accountable.
• Experience building customer or partner enablement through documentation, training, and certification.
• Technical fluency with APIs and integration workflows.
• Experience managing programs involving executive sponsors, program leads, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong judgment about completion criteria and working integrations.
• Habit of raising risks early and identifying specific resolution needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Health-tech, developer tools, or API platform experience.
• Familiarity with EHR/PMS systems and practice workflows.
• Experience as an early implementation hire building a function from scratch.
• Experience working directly with developer teams as the primary customer.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total target cash compensation: $125,000–$170,000 USD, including base and variable compensation.
