Build and own the Windows experience for an Electron desktop application, delivering user-facing features across React/TypeScript and native OS integrations. Responsibilities
- Own the development of new user-facing features end-to-end, ensuring they work well on Windows.
- Own and improve the product experience on Windows.
- Optimize the application for speed, scale, and reliability on Windows.
- Work across the stack, from the React/TypeScript UI to native operating system integrations.
- Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Engineering experience at technology and product-driven companies.
- Several years of using Windows as a primary operating system.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience building and maintaining desktop applications on Windows.
- Comfort navigating Windows-specific APIs and tooling.
- Willingness to work in person from the London office most of the time.
- Startup experience or strong interest in zero-to-one environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and shifting priorities.
Nice to Have
- Electron experience.
- Low-level Windows development experience.
