About the job

Responsibilities

Monthly Close

  • Own vendor onboarding and W-9 collection, approval thresholds, payment runs, expense policy, and 1099s.

Cash Management

  • Review actuals against forecasts weekly and provide written commentary on variances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations across all operating accounts.

Documentation and Process Improvement

  • Document accounting processes as they are built to support future diligence or audits.
  • Repair broken processes and maintain an automated finance stack rather than adding manual reconciliations.

  • Ability to close a month, defend every number, and reconcile a billing system to a general ledger.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets.

  • Ability to work at an extremely fast pace and build systems that support growth-related decision-making.
