About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the close for assigned areas, including preparing journals, account reconciliations, and flux analysis; ensure GL-to-subledger integrity.
  • Manage key GL cycles, including AR/revenue, accruals, fixed assets, deferred revenue, and equity, with clean rollforwards and documentation.
  • Drive cutoffs and analytics by coordinating with AP, AR, Payroll, Procurement, and FP&A on accruals and budget-to-actuals; propose data-driven adjustments.
  • Identify risks, control gaps, and inefficiencies and drive solutions with minimal direction.
  • Improve processes and tools by standardizing templates, automating reconciliations, and streamlining the close calendar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA eligibility.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, such as a Big Four or national firm, and/or a high-growth operating environment.
  • Proficiency with general ledgers, subledgers, and reconciliation tools such as FloQast.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Clear communication, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
