About the job
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own core accounting processes across Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Cost of Services and Provider Payouts, Intercompany, and Treasury, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP.
- Own key balance sheet accounts and drive the month-end close through the preparation of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and monthly fluctuation analyses, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results.
- Assess new partnerships and revenue streams, applying ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to evaluate contracts, document technical accounting conclusions, and ensure new arrangements are recorded appropriately.
- Support external financial audits and income tax compliance by preparing workpapers, gathering documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for auditors and tax advisors.
- Architect and implement AI-driven efficiencies across accounting workflows, partnering cross-functionally to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and ensure processes scale with the business.
You’ll Be a Good Fit If
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry, and an active CPA preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a solid working knowledge of US GAAP, including experience researching and applying technical accounting concepts (revenue recognition/ASC 606 a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
