Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance
Own financial models and data infrastructure for user acquisition, retention, LTV/CAC, and unit economics. Partner with Growth, Data, and senior leadership to forecast performance, surface insights, and communicate strategic narratives.

Responsibilities
- Build and own financial models covering user acquisition, retention, user dynamics, LTV/CAC, and unit economics.
- Build and maintain SQL queries that power financial models, self-serving data end to end.
- Identify data anomalies, diagnose root causes, and partner with the Data team to resolve issues.
- Support user forecasting during monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast cycles.
- Turn ad hoc Finance and Growth questions into clear, defensible analysis.
- Surface insights to broader teams and cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Growth on acquisition and spend decisions, with additional collaboration across Data and Product.
- Translate user economics into narratives for senior leadership and investors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, growth or data analytics, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
- SQL proficiency and ability to self-serve within a data warehouse.
- Strong data fluency, including the ability to identify anomalies and communicate root causes.
- Solid FP&A fundamentals, including forecasting, variance analysis, and clear reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with ambiguous problems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a high-growth consumer technology, subscription, or marketplace company focused on user acquisition and retention.
- Familiarity with BI and dashboarding tools; Hex or Grafana experience is a plus.
- Exposure to marketing or user-acquisition efficiency metrics such as CAC and LTV.
- Experience with investor reporting or board-level financial presentations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $99,000–$106,000.
- Equity for full-time employees.
