Responsibilities
- Lead development of custom system solutions, tools, and dashboards supporting R&D operations and data flow across the feature development lifecycle.
- Design and maintain bidirectional integrations between Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce, and other GTM and G&A systems.
- Build and maintain AI agents and internal tools that help engineering managers, product managers, and leadership access data, draft technical requirements and designs, synthesize customer feedback, and align with OKRs.
- Design and build production-grade backend services and integration workflows in Python and TypeScript.
- Define API contracts, data models, and integration patterns with emphasis on reliability, idempotency, and security.
- Write tested code with unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage.
- Own observability, operational readiness, and production support for internal tools and data pipelines.
- Build maintainable React-based internal applications with strong UX, accessibility, and performance practices.
- Use AI assistants and coding agents such as Claude Code for incident resolution, feature development, testing, investigations, and documentation.
- Create technical documentation for integrations, data models, and deployed systems.
- Build, maintain, and govern self-service analytics dashboards using Sigma and Looker Studio.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software industry experience solving complex systems engineering problems.
- Experience designing and developing reusable backend and frontend libraries and experimentation platforms from scratch.
- Experience developing integrations with REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and modern programming or scripting languages including Python and Java.
- Experience deploying systems with modern CI/CD practices and ensuring observability.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Sigma, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML-powered utilities or agents using LLMs such as OpenAI or Claude.
- Hands-on experience administering and customizing enterprise systems such as Jira, Slack, Zendesk, Salesforce, or Aha!.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to connect technical details with business outcomes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, and data analytics teams.
- Ability to independently drive complex projects through phased deliverables.
Nice-to-haves
- 3+ years of experience in automation or operations roles within high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Familiarity with the modern data stack, including dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Segment.
- Experience building custom internal tools, AI agents, or web applications for business operations.

- Ontario pay range: CA$125,882–CA$151,064.50 annually.
