Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Managed Connectors team and scale the Bangalore engineering organization, including hiring staff engineers and managers.
• Drive product delivery, enforce engineering best practices, and oversee the design and implementation of complex distributed systems.
• Lead software engineers while fostering ownership, impact, high standards, and value delivery.
• Participate hands-on in technical architecture and design reviews.
• Define the team technology roadmap and collaborate with business teams and product managers on business OKR planning.
• Drive organizational growth, automated solutions, efficiency, and process improvement.
• Build and maintain scalable data connectors integrating external sources and internal products for the analytics ecosystem.
• Launch the Dashboards product and help build real-time analytics systems processing millions of rows with sub-2-second latency.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architectures.
• At least 3 years of experience as an engineering manager leading development teams.
• Strong engineering skills and a record of improving code structure and architecture for testability and maintainability.
• Ability to set team and individual roadmaps and goals, delegate effectively, provide engineering guidance and transparent feedback, support career growth, and ensure quality results.
• Strong project management skills, product ownership, customer focus, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Experience launching or managing analytics and data products.
