Processes and validates alternatives investment data, corrects machine-learning extraction errors, and resolves private-fund statement issues with clients and internal teams. The role requires 1–2 years of relevant financial operations experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with private fund data.

Responsibilities
- Manage alternatives data processing for Addepar clients, including:
- Troubleshooting processing exceptions for private fund statements, including capital call notices, distribution notices, and capital account statements.
- Correcting data extracted incorrectly by machine learning models to reflect the transactions and valuation information in private fund statements.
- Partnering with Machine Learning Operations to identify and relabel documents for model retraining.
- Engaging clients, general partners, and fund administrators to resolve statement-data inquiries and issues.
- Onboarding new clients by determining and establishing ownership structures for private fund positions.
- Maintain alternatives data operations workflow procedures and playbooks.
- Partner with Sales, Account Managers, and Solutions Architects to resolve account-related issues and support positive client outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to implement processes and tooling that improve alternatives data-processing user experience and workflow efficiency.
- Work flexible hours as needed.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the financial investment or advisory industry.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and middle- or back-office operations systems.
- Preferably, experience with alternatives or private drawdown funds data, including capital account statements, capital calls, and distribution notices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients, data providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, pragmatic, forward-thinking, responsible, and collaborative.
- Willingness to work from the Pune office three days per week in a hybrid work model.
