Responsibilities
- Record, reconcile, and settle intercompany transactions across Yext entities.
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts, including payroll clearing, statutory dues, and accrued payroll liabilities.
- Prepare reconciliations, roll-forwards, account analyses, and month-end journal entries for various general ledger accounts.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for statutory financial statements.
- Support Senior and Lead Accountants with daily accounting activities and ad hoc analysis.
- Maintain and track audit query documentation for international entities.
- Extract supporting documentation and prepare ad hoc reports for audits.
- Manage, analyze, and reconcile large data volumes in Excel from internal systems and the general ledger.
- Support process improvements involving accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.
Requirements
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting concepts.
- Ability to manipulate and manage large amounts of data.
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, results-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent written and formal presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in an international business environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent accounting degree.
- Experience with intercompany accounting or payroll accounting, preferably in a multinational, GCC, or shared-services environment.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP/general ledger systems.
