FP&A Manager

The FP&A Manager will own budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and investor reporting for a fast-growing, PE-backed SaaS business. The role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience, advanced Excel skills, and a finance or accounting bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, partnering with leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and G&A.
  • Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, unit economics, headcount, and cash runway for board- and investor-level decisions.
  • Prepare recurring board and investor reporting packages, including ARR, net revenue retention, CAC/LTV, gross margin, and burn multiple.
  • Deliver monthly variance analysis of actuals versus budget and forecast, with actionable leadership commentary.
  • Support scenario planning and ad hoc analysis related to growth initiatives, pricing, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and improve FP&A tools, systems, and processes as the finance function scales.
  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive team on board materials, investor updates, and potential M&A activity.
  • Work closely with Accounting on revenue recognition, reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables so forecasts align with reported actuals.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or in-house FP&A.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed environment with evolving processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SaaS and subscription business metrics.
