Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable AI-powered systems that move, transform, and enrich data across products.
- Partner with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Own the reliability and delivery of cloud-native services, including deployment, observability, scalability, and production support.
- Mentor engineers and lead cross-team technical initiatives from architecture through production.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building and operating production backend or data-intensive systems.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience designing distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, and reliable data-processing services.
- Experience deploying and operating containerized applications on a major cloud platform.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building production LLM systems, including multi-step, tool-using, or agentic workflows.
- Experience working at a growing company.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Datadog.
