Activation Specialist
The Activation Specialist guides new customers through LangSmith onboarding, integrations, evaluations, and production readiness while coordinating with GTM, Product, and Engineering. The role requires 2–4 years of customer-facing experience, strong organization and communication, and curiosity about AI and developer tools.

Responsibilities
- Own customer onboarding from kickoff through early activation milestones, including admin setup, SDK integration, first traced run, first evaluation, and LangGraph deployment.
- Guide customers through LangSmith setup and production-readiness topics, including security, organization design, workload isolation, and integrations.
- Partner with GTM, Product, Engineering, and LangChain specialists to unblock customers and coordinate deeper support.
- Help customers build evaluation workflows, define success criteria, and debug production traces independently.
- Route customers to resources and turn recurring onboarding questions into runbooks, documentation, and repeatable processes.
- Surface customer friction to Product and Engineering and track activation metrics.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as support, customer success, account management, or onboarding.
- Strong desire to work directly with customers and build trusted relationships.
- Excellent organization and follow-through.
- Proactive approach to learning tools, solving problems, and taking hands-on ownership.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity about technology and AI, with willingness to learn technical concepts.
Nice to Have
- Customer onboarding experience at a SaaS company.
- Familiarity with SSO, SCIM, ABAC, and workload isolation.
- Exposure to developer tools, observability, evaluations, or AI/LLM workflows.
