Onboarding Specialist
Owns customer onboarding from signed deal through early adoption, including discovery, implementation, training, migration, and handoff to Account Management. Requires 2+ years of proposal development or capture experience and strong client communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Become a product expert across the GovDash platform, including capture, proposal development, and contract management workflows.
- Partner with account executives to onboard new clients and create implementation plans.
- Conduct discovery to understand each customer’s pursuit volume, capture and proposal processes, roles, handoffs, tooling, and goals.
- Train clients during their first 30 days and drive successful product adoption.
- Assist with integrations, data and platform setup, pipeline migration, content and documentation uploads, and other migration efforts.
- Conduct multiple customer training and workflow sessions each day through Microsoft Teams.
- Hand off converted accounts to Account Management with documented workflows, stakeholders, and open items.
- Share onboarding feedback with product and engineering teams, focusing on first-run experience and implementation friction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proposal development or capture experience.
- Experience running software product demos.
- Experience training others on capture and proposal workflows.
- Understanding of government contracting, AI, GovDash’s products, and the problems they solve.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts simply, operate autonomously, manage frequent context switching, run multiple pilots, and prioritize effectively.
Nice to Have
- Prior startup experience.
- Exposure to technical domains such as AI or SaaS.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or enhance workflows.
