Responsibilities
- Own and close a defined territory spanning independent cardiology practices, hospital-owned cardiology groups, and health-system provider networks.
- Develop territory strategies, tier accounts, map ownership structures, and prioritize opportunities.
- Generate pipeline through outreach, in-person visits, events, and sales development support.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, deal stages, and next steps.
- Build credibility with cardiologists, practice owners, administrators, service line leaders, population health leaders, and hospital- or PE-aligned stakeholders.
- Explain value-based care economics, including revenue upside, quality pathways, operational ease, and reduced avoidable admissions.
- Navigate complex ownership structures, IDNs, and multi-stakeholder decisions; identify economic buyers, clinical champions, and blockers.
- Manage objections, negotiate terms, and guide prospects through signed partnership agreements.
- Exceed activity, meeting, proposal, and agreement targets while maintaining a consistent sales cadence.
- Partner with Marketing and Growth Operations to improve lead flow, conversion, and messaging.
- Help develop repeatable sales processes, sales materials, market insights, messaging, talk tracks, and proposals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of healthcare sales experience selling to physician groups, health systems, or provider executives.
- Direct experience closing deals within hospital-owned or health-system-employed provider organizations.
- Proven quota attainment in complex, multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales environments.
- Experience evangelizing a new category or unfamiliar business model.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, with the ability to communicate ROI and value-based care economics.
- High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and clinical credibility or the ability to build it quickly.
- Builder mindset and comfort working without extensive enablement or established playbooks.
- Strategic fluency across independent practices, hospital-owned groups, and health-system networks.
- Willingness and enthusiasm for frequent in-person travel.
