People Operations Specialist
Provides operational People support across EMEA, with a focus on Germany, managing employee lifecycle documentation, Workday data, queries, approvals, and compliance workflows. Requires 3–5 years of HR operations experience, German and English fluency, and knowledge of German labor law.

Responsibilities
- Provide first-line, solutions-focused support for EMEA People queries through Jira; triage and escalate complex issues to People Generalists or People Business Partners.
- Draft, issue, and track regional employee lifecycle documentation, including contracts, addenda, reference letters, and termination documents, with audit-ready accuracy.
- Maintain end-to-end employee lifecycle data integrity in Workday, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding.
- Manage contingent worker administration and background checks.
- Enforce HR workflow guardrails and secure required approvals from Finance, Compensation, and Legal before processing system changes.
- Coordinate operational workflows with Payroll, IT, Legal, and Security.
- Identify recurring query trends and data gaps, and improve internal knowledge bases, policies, and processes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Coordination, or a similar shared-services role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or multinational environment.
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English and German.
- Foundational understanding of German labor law and regional HR compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with HRIS platforms; Workday proficiency is highly preferred.
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira.
- Strong attention to detail, procedural governance, compliance, communication, judgment, and employee support skills.
