About the job

Responsibilities

  • Translate group policy into consistent local application and disclosure in collaboration with the US technical accounting team.
  • Own the international statutory compliance framework, including filing and audit calendars, requirements tracking, risk escalation, and leadership reporting.
  • Build scalable, automated, templated, and controls-driven workflows across the statutory and technical accounting lifecycle.
  • Keep international technical and reporting positions aligned with local statutory and regulatory requirements, assess new regulations, and update guidance.
  • Draft technical accounting position papers for statutory filings and audits on areas including revenue recognition, intercompany and cost-plus arrangements, share-based compensation, lease accounting, and new entities.
  • Review and sign off on complex judgments and disclosures across the international portfolio.
  • Resolve auditor queries and contentious technical matters throughout the statutory audit cycle.
  • Support the NetSuite-to-SAP transition by helping design scalable statutory and technical accounting processes.
  • Advise Accounting, Tax, HR, and Legal teams on the accounting and statutory implications of intercompany arrangements, funding, structural changes, and new entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Strong post-qualification experience in technical accounting and/or statutory reporting.
