Regional Sales Manager, Ohio

Own strategic enterprise sales across Ohio, developing demand, managing the full sales cycle, and closing and expanding large security and observability deals. The role requires 7+ years of strategic security sales experience, Fortune-level and G2K relationships, channel expertise, and a record of seven-figure wins.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a business plan to overachieve sales goals.
  • Manage and maintain the entire sales ecosystem, from generating leads through closing.
  • Help customers understand the value of Cribl during the sales process.
  • Articulate the value proposition across organizations, from engineers to C-level executives.
  • Forecast predictably and hit sales targets.
  • Occasionally perform duties outside standard working hours to support teams across time zones.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of strategic security sales experience selling to Fortune-level organizations and security and IT personas, including CISOs and CIOs.
  • Experience with at least one earlier-stage startup with fewer than 1,000 employees, or demonstrated entrepreneurial skills throughout a career.
  • Proven track record of landing and expanding seven-figure deals.
  • Experience selling to G2K companies and developing at least one new logo from scratch.
  • Experience selling through a channel-led motion.
  • Ability to create demand in a territory and sell unbudgeted solutions.
  • Experience using MEDDIC.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $150,000–$165,000 USD.
  • Sales employees are eligible to earn incentive compensation through commission.
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, fertility treatment benefits, 401(k), and equity.
