Account Director, Startups Expansion
Own strategic startup customer relationships, account plans, and consumption revenue while partnering with technical and cross-functional teams to accelerate customers’ product development on an AI platform. Requires 8+ years selling cloud, platform, or API products and experience with startups and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of startup accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans.
- Partner with solutions architects to drive successful technical engagements and accelerate customer product development.
- Own and forecast a consumption revenue target.
- Analyze account metrics, create reports, and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with solutions, marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management, and engineering teams.
- Advocate for improvements to the startup customer experience by synthesizing product feedback.
- Monitor the industry and startup landscapes and contribute to corporate strategies.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and company culture development.
Requirements
- 8+ years selling platform-as-a-service, cloud, or other API products.
- Experience working in or around the startup ecosystem, preferably as a startup founder, startup employee, or professional working with startup customers.
- Experience supporting the growth and product development of fast-growing, high-performance companies.
- Experience working directly with C-level executives and startup founders.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience gathering, distilling, and processing complex industry, competitor, customer, and prospect intelligence.
