Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex systems within the Core team, influencing technical direction and strategy.
- Own delivery of large-scale features and projects across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior and senior engineers and foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to shape requirements and balance quality, performance, and delivery timelines.
- Implement high-quality, resilient, and scalable distributed systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident management for critical production issues.
- Improve development practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and test automation.
- Coordinate cross-team technical initiatives across services and platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and techniques.
- Own the delivery pipeline, including code quality, testing standards, and deployment practices.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in daily development.
- Participate in active on-call duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles and patterns for distributed systems, including microservices and event-driven architecture with Kafka.
- Experience applying resilience mechanisms and performance tuning practices.
- Proficiency managing cloud infrastructure and services, including AWS and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience implementing DevOps best practices with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and Terraform.
- Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical efforts and align them with business objectives.
