IT Systems Engineer - End-User Support
Supports and improves end-user computing, identity, endpoint management, networking, and IT operations for the India office. The role requires 2–5 years of IT support or systems experience, strong Windows and macOS expertise, networking knowledge, and scripting capability.

Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy Windows and macOS desktops and laptops.
- Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, and access issues.
- Configure, manage, support, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and macOS environments.
- Manage user accounts, identity, and access controls.
- Lead endpoint lifecycle management, including automated provisioning, configuration, compliance, and patching using modern device management platforms.
- Troubleshoot login, MFA, VPN, email, and access-related issues.
- Design and optimize onboarding and offboarding workflows with an emphasis on automation, security, and auditability.
- Oversee peripherals and hardware ecosystems, including camera infrastructure, printers, and access devices.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Linux systems.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Lead network troubleshooting across DNS, DHCP, VPN, and connectivity layers.
- Improve office Wi-Fi and LAN performance and reliability.
- Assist with firewall access and connectivity issues, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Own reliable IT operations for the India office, including uptime, user experience, and service quality.
- Monitor and improve identity and authentication systems.
- Manage tickets in the IT service management system.
- Maintain asset inventory, tracking, and documentation.
- Ensure systems meet patching and security standards.
- Manage local IT vendor relationships, hardware procurement, warranty replacements, and local ISPs.
- Coordinate third-party contractors such as cabling technicians, printer maintenance providers, and AV specialists.
- Collaborate with global IT teams on support and projects.
- Conduct IT orientations for new hires and educate users on security practices and company policies.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support or systems roles.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and macOS configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of user identity and access management concepts.
- Experience with device management and endpoint deployment tools.
- Experience with networking hardware and software.
- Experience with remote support tools.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
- Basic understanding of Linux systems.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN fundamentals.
- Experience with hardware and end-user support.
- Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, switches, and wireless environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-office or global environment.
- Familiarity with MFA, SSO, and access-control best practices.
- Experience with IT service management and ticketing tools.
- Relevant Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, or Cisco certifications.
