Product Manager, CAD

Own the roadmap and delivery of key CAD platform capabilities for public safety agencies, partnering with engineering, design, customers, and go-to-market teams. The role requires 4–7+ years of software product management experience and strong judgment in ambiguous, operationally complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve one or more areas of the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) platform, from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Explore ambiguous customer and business problems, validate solutions, and define product direction.
  • Step into existing initiatives, build context quickly, establish priorities, and guide delivery.
  • Own roadmaps, prioritize and refine backlogs, and make tradeoffs among competing priorities.
  • Partner with engineering and design to create intuitive, reliable, scalable product experiences.
  • Engage dispatchers, supervisors, command staff, and technology leaders to understand workflows and identify opportunities.
  • Evaluate product opportunities, emerging technologies, customer needs, and product impact using qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Collaborate with sales, implementation, customer success, support, and other go-to-market teams on launches and adoption.
  • Balance new development with improvements to usability, performance, resiliency, scalability, and existing customer workflows.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience building and shipping software products.
  • Proven ability to own products or significant product areas end-to-end, including opportunity validation, execution, launch, and iteration.
  • Experience taking products or capabilities from 0 to 1.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations, business priorities, and product strategy.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
  • Ability to engage customers directly and translate complex workflows into product opportunities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Experience partnering with sales, implementation, customer success, support, or other go-to-market teams.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decisions, prioritize investments, and evaluate impact.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS, workflow-heavy, real-time, or operational products.
  • Public safety experience is a plus but not required.
