Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy for SpotOn’s restaurant software suite and own the Merchant Dashboard roadmap.
  • Make data-informed trade-offs based on customer needs, market dynamics, and business priorities.
  • Shape the Dashboard’s information architecture, interaction patterns, personalization, and monetization surfaces.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, Operations, and go-to-market teams to align priorities and deliver solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead experimentation, learning, and iteration using product insights and data.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and external partners; serve as the product advocate and voice of the customer.
  • Collaborate with product marketing on product positioning.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with restaurant or hospitality software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and delivering intuitive, scalable products across platforms.
  • Technical fluency, including the ability to discuss APIs, systems architecture, and implementation trade-offs with engineers.
  • Metrics-driven approach to product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including articulating product vision, rationale, and trade-offs.
  • Customer-centered approach to understanding user needs and product interactions.
  • Ability to lead without authority and make decisions amid ambiguity and complexity.

  • Hands-on restaurant or hospitality experience, such as working in a restaurant, bar, or cafe.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $175,000–$195,000.
