Engineering Manager, FDE Agentic Platform
Leads a North America Deployment Engineering team building and deploying secure agentic enterprise solutions with Cohere’s North platform. The role combines hands-on technical leadership, customer delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and team management.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers building agentic solutions with North in on-premises environments.
- Own customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape enterprise AI delivery.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Foster continuous improvement and innovation in agentic solution development.
- Define and implement processes that scale agent development and deployment across client environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- Experience managing engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise software at scale, with a focus on agentic applications.
- High agency and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Strong execution in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for technical and business audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
- Background in enterprise security and compliance.
