Lead Value Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish a standardized path to customer success by creating repeatable blueprints for ROI, stickiness, and adoption.
• Shape the platform by closing the product-to-field feedback loop and driving adoption of new capabilities at scale.
• Turn proven success into embedded systems and enable go-to-market with repeatable motions.
• Provide targeted value advisory for strategic deals and deployments.
• Identify next-best actions and proactively suggest approaches such as Business Critical Motion, Discover & Build Methodology, and AI Agents.
• Interface with GTM, Value Engineering leadership, Product, and Engineering to source best practices and identify gaps across the value journey.
• Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects to improve Value Engineering metrics.
• Architect next-generation AI Agents, autonomous frameworks, and LLM-driven assets for pre-sales, value realization, and adoption.
• Co-create product functionality based on value-driven insights.
• Contribute to GTM strategies and land, expand, and renew motions by improving the end-to-end value journey.
• Partner with Product & Engineering, Industry, and Business Applications teams.
• Advise and support colleagues across the Value Engineering organization and other teams.
• Leverage networks across the company and ecosystem to achieve team objectives.

Requirements

• Ability to identify, document, implement, and globally scale best practices, processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Innovation-focused, technology-forward mindset with interest in AI agents and platforms such as Claude and Auctor.
• Ability to empower colleagues, foster collaboration, communicate effectively, and build relationships.
• Strong ownership, accountability, initiative, and willingness to support cross-functional efforts.
• Technical expertise with the Celonis Platform, including PQL, plus software development and deployment skills.
• Experience with SQL or programming languages such as R, Python, or Java.
• Ability to manage complex Excel or Google Sheets and configure Action Flows for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of the Celonis platform, processes, and key assets.
• Value selling and realization skills, including needs analysis, solution positioning, objection handling, value identification, framing, realization, and tracking.
• Stakeholder and program management skills, including planning, communication, engagement, rollout, and adoption.
• Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial or Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field.

• Expertise in one or more industries, such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals.
