- Implement functionality for the Core Experience product area, focused on pricing and buying.
- Contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes.
- Write well-designed, testable code and optimize it for performance.
- Improve test coverage and refactor code for maintainability.
- Follow up on incidents, write postmortems, and prepare mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve milestone goals.
- Document work and share information with teammates.
Requirements
- Strong coding, technical, and problem-solving skills, with professional experience writing Java applications in production environments.
- Experience with reliable distributed systems, especially high-volume data management platforms operating under strict SLAs.
- Ability to write well-structured Java code using programming best practices.
- Ability to specify software designs that satisfy project requirements.
- Expertise with popular cloud platforms, cloud-based APIs, and databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems in existing code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
