Delivery Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and data health for strategic and high-value clients, including data quality improvements and tech stack integration.
• Align with pre-sales teams and consult with prospects and clients to define business goals, metrics, data architecture, and project outcomes.
• Engage engineering, product management, and marketing stakeholders to deliver technical onboarding, optimize Mixpanel deployments, and improve data trust.
• Deliver technical services including data architecture consulting, adoption guidance, and change management.
• Create scalable data governance practices, data optimization initiatives, and re-implementation projects.
• Execute deliverables while managing timelines, scope changes, and unexpected issues.
• Collaborate with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding projects.
• Sponsor internal engagements with product and engineering teams to prioritize client-driven product and systems work.
• Build AI automations to help customers manage data at scale.
• Advise customers on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.

Requirements

• Experience querying, modeling, and transforming data with at least one of SQL, dbt, Python, business intelligence tools, or product analytics tools.
• Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, and Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with product analytics implementation methods, including SDKs, customer data platforms, event streaming, and reverse ETL.
• Knowledge of analytics best practices across business segments and verticals.
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple client stakeholders while controlling scope and timelines.
• Experience embedding AI into workflows, using MCP servers, building skills, and setting context; ability to advise customers on AI and data strategy.
• Experience in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management.
• Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong process and project delivery discipline.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Total target cash compensation: $137,000–$185,000 USD, including base and variable compensation.
