Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, manage, mentor, and coach several engineering teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, respect, integrity, inclusion, ownership, and accountability.
- Set clear goals and provide regular feedback.
- Design strategies for developer success and experiment with new user experiences and business models.
Technical Leadership
- Coordinate technical design and execution of complex ecosystem-platform features.
- Define high-value product offerings with strategic ecosystem partners, including partner applications and marketplaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders to deliver customer-focused features.
- Uphold engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.
Project Management
- Own the Ecosystem engineering roadmap across developer tooling, strategic integrations, and marketplace initiatives.
- Break down complex initiatives into milestones and manage delivery.
- Identify and resolve roadblocks while balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical and business investments.
Collaboration & Operations
- Align engineering, product, and design stakeholders on priorities and deliverables.
- Represent engineering needs and constraints to leadership.
- Drive monitoring, logging, incident response, automation, continuous integration, reliability, performance, and system robustness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering management or leadership.
- Experience launching 0-to-1 ecosystem features, platform extensibility, developer tooling, or products for external technical audiences.
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Strong backend or frontend development background.
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle from design through production support.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor engineers.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- React or Java experience.
- API development experience.
- Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Kubernetes or other container-orchestration experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $260,000–$300,000, plus competitive equity.
