Manager, Technical Recruiting

Lead a technical recruiting team to hire engineering talent in systems, AI, software, and robotics. Manage full-cycle recruiting, mentor recruiters, track metrics, and partner with engineering leaders for senior hires.

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of recruiters, including career growth, performance reviews, mentorship, and optimal performance.
  • Track metrics, pipeline activity, and manage reporting.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for senior-level hires, ensuring positive candidate experience.
  • Innovate on talent pipeline building and recruiting in various venues.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand positions and team needs.
  • Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages.
  • Negotiate offers with hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc.
  • Partner with recruiting/business leaders to understand hire requirements and impact.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years building and managing high-performing technical recruiting teams.
  • Experience in fast-growth, dynamic environments managing multiple pipelines/priorities.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience, closing tough candidates, managing demanding clients, and developing internal partnerships.
  • Strong talent assessment skills and ability to teach others.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence with leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Agency recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for systems engineering.
  • Experience recruiting in AI/robotics domain.
