Workplace Technology Operation Contractor

Provides onsite and remote workplace IT support for Dublin and EMEA employees, managing device and account lifecycles, endpoint tools, AV, and SaaS systems. The role also improves documentation and automates recurring workflows while partnering with security and global IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for Dublin and EMEA employees across hardware, software, connectivity, SaaS tools, conference-room AV, and internal events.
  • Manage employee and device lifecycle workflows, including account provisioning, device preparation, inventory, procurement coordination, returns, repairs, and deprovisioning.
  • Improve SOPs, resource-library content, handoffs, self-service resources, and support practices.
  • Improve a recurring support workflow—such as onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, device setup, or self-service—using AI or lightweight automation.
  • Collaborate with Workplace, People, Security, DART, and global IT teams on access, endpoint, and security-related workflows.
  • Occasionally travel to support distributed EMEA teams, onsite events, office launches, or hands-on IT needs.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Hands-on workplace IT support experience with macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Experience with conference-room AV, peripherals, and networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
  • Experience supporting SaaS, identity, collaboration, and endpoint-management tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Fleet.
  • Familiarity with ITSM principles and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Atlassian, Zendesk, or Notion.
  • Strong judgment regarding access, endpoint hygiene, documentation, IT compliance, and security escalation.
  • Service-oriented, self-directed communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted resources or lightweight automation to improve support quality and reduce manual work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a fast-growing technology or AI company.
  • Experience building internal tooling or automation workflows.
  • Experience with Git or GitHub and an interest in learning to code.
  • Experience in an Infrastructure as Code team environment.
  • Additional European language fluency or experience supporting distributed EMEA teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • 12–18 month fixed-term contract, with potential longer-term opportunities depending on business needs and performance.
  • In-person collaboration is required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with additional office days potentially required by the role.
