Senior / Staff Product Manager, Financial Products

Leads product vision, strategy, and launches for Motive Card expansion into new sectors and geographies. The role requires 8+ years of product management experience, strong customer discovery and data-driven decision-making skills, and the ability to coordinate regulated-market initiatives across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term product vision and MVP for Motive Card entry into new sectors and markets.
  • Conduct customer research, identify Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and outline the feature set necessary for successful adoption.
  • Develop product strategy and roadmaps with PMs, PMMs, AEs, and SEs to introduce Motive Card into new sectors and international geographies.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on market opportunity and operational readiness.
  • Align priorities and execute roadmaps with Sales, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Define metrics, business requirements, goals, and user stories.
  • Own product documentation, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), wireframes, and process flows.
  • Serve as the product subject matter expert for expansion initiatives and support Sales and Business Development with product knowledge and strategic positioning.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Direct experience launching products into new, complex, or regulated sectors, or significant 0-to-1 product development experience.
  • Strong customer empathy and experience with customer discovery, market analysis, and product strategy.
  • Data-driven approach to business cases and product decisions.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to understand platform capabilities and dependencies and collaborate effectively with software engineers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence for working with remote teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in an agile product development environment.

  • B2B or fintech experience.
  • Experience launching products in new geographies.
