People Technology Staff Product Manager
Own the product strategy and roadmap for Okta’s global Employee Growth & Talent technology portfolio, spanning HR platforms, integrations, and AI automation. The role requires 8+ years of product management experience, deep talent-technology expertise, and the ability to align global business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Define the multi-year product vision and strategy for the Employee Growth & Talent domain.
- Build prioritized, outcome-driven roadmaps with clear business value, ROI, and measurable talent-operations and employee-experience impact.
- Develop business cases and functional strategies for talent-platform initiatives across ATS, LMS, Workday Extend, and custom applications.
- Partner with delivery leadership to translate priorities and requirements into epics, user stories, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
- Represent business and end-user needs in technical discussions, evaluating trade-offs among user experience, operational risk, and scalability.
- Define strategy and requirements for AI-enabled talent-lifecycle workflows, including sourcing, onboarding, learning, and internal mobility.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy options and design human-in-the-loop workflows with privacy and ethical-AI safeguards.
- Drive alignment across Digital Solutions, global business stakeholders, functional leaders, and product counterparts.
- Support change management, visibility, and adoption across distributed teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience leading internal enterprise platforms, enterprise HR/talent systems, or complex B2B SaaS products at global scale.
- Deep knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Performance/Talent Management processes.
- Hands-on familiarity with Greenhouse, Cornerstone, Workday Talent, or equivalent ATS, LMS, and HCM ecosystems.
- Experience developing data-backed investment cases, sizing ROI, and measuring operational impact.
- Experience partnering with delivery teams on integrations, data flows, technical trade-offs, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and PRDs.
- Functional understanding of enterprise AI, generative AI, automated workflows, human-in-the-loop design, ethical AI, and data privacy.
- Ability to operate autonomously across US, APAC, and EMEA time zones and influence senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience delivering solutions using Workday Extend, orchestration engines, or custom application ecosystems.
- Experience conceptualizing, testing, or deploying agentic AI workflows, conversational interfaces, or autonomous task automation in enterprise HR.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, SOX, SOC 2, GDPR, and sensitive employee-data handling.
