Senior Agent Product Manager

Senior Agent Product Manager leads end-to-end customer deployments of Retell AI's voice agents, from discovery and requirements gathering to production launch. Partners with customers to design AI workflows, build ROI cases, advise executives, and translate feedback into product improvements while coordinating with internal Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end customer deployments from discovery through production launch, owning project execution, stakeholder communication, risk management, and successful delivery.
  • Partner directly with customers to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable AI-powered workflows.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Retell's platform, voice AI best practices, and LLM prompting techniques.
  • Design conversational workflows, automation strategies, and deployment architectures that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Build prototypes, validate use cases, and guide customers through implementation tradeoffs and optimization opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives and operational leaders, helping them identify opportunities to leverage AI across their organizations.
  • Lead discovery sessions, business process reviews, and strategic planning conversations with customer stakeholders.
  • Build ROI models and business cases that quantify the impact of AI automation and help customers prioritize initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales during pre-sales engagements, solution scoping, and customer presentations.
  • Coordinate across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to unblock deployments and ensure customer success.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, recommendations, and next steps clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product recommendations and help shape the future direction of the Retell platform.
  • Develop repeatable deployment playbooks, best practices, and frameworks that enable customers to deploy voice AI successfully at scale.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to quickly build credibility with executives, operators, and technical teams.
  • Strong product intuition, understanding customer workflows, identifying pain points, and designing scalable solutions.
  • Ability to balance technical implementation details with business outcomes and strategic thinking.
  • Thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy creating structure where none exists.
  • Strong ownership mentality and willingness to do whatever is necessary to drive successful outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Highly organized, execution-oriented, and able to move initiatives from concept to production.
  • Experience in deployment, implementation, solutions consulting, product management, forward deployed engineering, strategic consulting, or other customer-facing technology roles.
  • Experience writing requirements, implementation plans, PRDs, or project specifications.
  • Experience building business cases, performing ROI analysis, or conducting value-based solution scoping.
  • Excited about AI, LLMs, voice technology, and helping customers adopt cutting-edge technologies.
  • Comfortable navigating technical conversations even if not a full-time engineer.
