Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team through coaching, feedback, and hiring.
- Partner with internal business units to identify high-leverage opportunities and ship end-to-end features that improve employee productivity.
- Drive delivery of AI-native solutions.
- Own core services and ensure secure, high-quality, reliable experiences.
- Balance quality with delivery speed, identify bottlenecks, and communicate tradeoffs across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Set technical direction across the roadmap, including AI adoption, employee efficiency, and foundational improvements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineering teams.
- Experience building web applications and APIs on cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders and translate workflows into technical solutions.
- Experience in a startup or other fast-moving, high-accountability environment.

Compensation and Benefits
- Target base salary: $310,000–$385,000.
