Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight and drive new features supporting Garner’s strategic mission.
- Build a high-performance engineering team through mentoring, feedback, and hiring.
- Maintain quality while sustaining delivery speed.
- Collaborate across product, data, and design disciplines to identify bottlenecks and risks, propose mitigations, and communicate tradeoffs.
- Protect user privacy and security through engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience translating ambiguous business requirements into scalable solutions and product features.
- 2+ years managing engineering teams, with experience inspiring, mentoring, and retaining engineering talent.
- Familiarity with web application development, API design, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits
- Target salary range: $310,000–$385,000 USD.
