Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a cloud engineering team developing distributed microservices for a multi-tenant, scalable platform.
- Oversee cloud service development with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
- Establish coding guidelines; participate in code and design reviews; and ensure high-quality automation and testing.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align development with business goals.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment and operations.
- Foster continuous learning, innovation, and adoption of engineering best practices.
- Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, including sprint management and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years managing cloud engineers.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with network security, TCP/IP, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
