Technical Account Consultant
Owns Australian payroll compliance expertise for enterprise customers, auditing and configuring Modern Awards, STP, superannuation, and long service leave while enabling customer-facing teams. Requires 3+ years of SaaS payroll, consulting, implementation, or support experience and strong knowledge of Australian Modern Awards.

Responsibilities
- Audit customer configurations for Australian Modern Awards, Single Touch Payroll (STP), superannuation, and long service leave.
- Deliver remediation recommendations for compliance gaps, errors, and inefficiencies.
- Train customer administrators on configuring and maintaining Modern Awards, including annual updates.
- Build complex reports and payroll-related policies for compliance analysis, audits, and operational processes.
- Provide structured product feedback on payroll and compliance issues to Product and Engineering.
- Run post-implementation health checks and configuration audits for enterprise accounts.
- Enable Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Account Managers (AMs) on Australian payroll compliance.
- Document findings, next steps, and engagement outcomes.
- Create reusable customer and internal training materials.
- Host adoption webinars and cohort-based Modern Award briefings.
- Support general customer cases outside payroll and compliance as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of SaaS experience in payroll process, consulting, implementation, or support.
- Hands-on experience interpreting and applying Australian Modern Awards.
- Deep knowledge of Australian payroll compliance, including Modern Awards, STP, superannuation, and long service leave.
- Strong customer-service, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to explain complex payroll and compliance scenarios clearly in writing and verbally.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex, interdependent configuration problems.
- Comfort handling general customer cases alongside a payroll-focused specialization.
- Interest in working with Product and Engineering teams on Australia-specific product gaps.
