Build and scale Thatch’s customer advocacy and sales reference programs, turning customer relationships into references, content, events, and measurable pipeline impact. Responsibilities
- Build and run a sales reference program connecting appropriate customers with prospects to support pipeline and win rates while avoiding overuse of advocates.
- Develop a strong bench of customer advocates and create a valuable participation experience.
- Create customer advocacy opportunities through conferences, webinars, podcasts, events, roundtables, and peer conversations.
- Build scalable systems and processes for managing advocates, requests, availability, and outcomes using AI and automation.
- Measure program impact across reference usage, content, pipeline influence, and win rates.
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, while protecting the customer experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, community, or a related function.
- Experience building a customer reference or advocacy program from the ground up.
- Track record of turning customer relationships into measurable business outcomes.
- Strong partnership with Sales and Customer Success, including judgment to push back when an ask is not right for the customer.
- Comfortable operating as a senior, hands-on individual contributor in a fast-moving environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in fintech, HR technology, benefits, healthcare, or another trust-driven B2B category.
- Existing relationships with industry analysts, media, conference organizers, or relevant external communities.
Compensation
- Estimated compensation range: $130,000–$170,000 USD annually.
