Workflow + Process Designer
Design and automate cross-functional business workflows for Foundations teams, embedding AI agents, integrations, controls, and measurement across multiple systems. The role requires 2–6 years of process or systems design experience, AI fluency, workflow architecture skills, and strong stakeholder judgment.

Responsibilities
- Redesign cross-functional processes for Foundations business teams, including intake, triage, execution, approvals, escalations, and reporting.
- Architect multi-system workflows spanning Notion, Slack, email, support tooling, and internal systems and data.
- Define workflow states, routing, permissions, auditability, edge-case handling, controls, and handoffs.
- Establish human-in-the-loop patterns that clarify where AI assists, automates, approves, and audits.
- Build and maintain custom agents, structured skills, automations, and runbooks for triage, summarization, routing, escalation, and reporting.
- Instrument workflows with metrics such as cycle time, deflection, quality, and adoption; iterate using data and stakeholder feedback.
- Set standards for AI safety, permissions, transparency, and workflow documentation.
- Drive adoption and change management with Finance, Legal, People, Operations, Data, and Engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in operations design, service design, product operations, business systems, or internal tools.
- Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and measurable outcomes.
- Experience designing intake, triage, routing, approvals, escalations, and reporting across teams and tools.
- Hands-on experience with journey maps, service blueprints, operating models, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience designing or building with AI assistants, agents, workflow automation, or internal tooling.
- AI fluency, including prompt design, tool selection, and evaluation for quality, reliability, and edge cases.
- Comfort building lightweight automations, structured skills, and integrations using APIs, webhooks, or connectors.
- Strong communication, stakeholder judgment, and ability to explain and defend design tradeoffs.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and collaborating with engineers and product managers.
Nice to Have
- Technology, process and operations consulting, or business/digital transformation experience.
- Experience with discovery, current-state and future-state process mapping, and stakeholder workshops.
- Experience delivering client engagements across multiple functions or industries.
- Experience turning patterns into repeatable playbooks and operating standards.
- Experience designing internal tools, developer platforms, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with schemas, event tracking, dashboards, and operational analytics.
- Notion product expertise.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
- San Francisco base salary: $166,000–$185,000 per year.
