Human Data - Business Operations Analyst
Analyzes Human Data operations to improve workforce performance, capacity, quality, throughput, cost, and reliability. The role builds dashboards, forecasting models, and scalable operating processes while partnering with operations, engineering, recruiting, finance, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Analyze Human Data operational metrics, including capacity, utilization, quality, throughput, cycle time, cost efficiency, and workforce health.
- Build and maintain reports, trackers, and dashboards for operating KPIs.
- Develop planning and forecasting views covering demand, capacity, staffing, and process volumes.
- Synthesize operational and performance data into allocation and operating recommendations.
- Design, document, and refine scalable operational processes and escalation paths.
- Identify data gaps and improve data collection, hygiene, and definitions.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, recruiting, onboarding, finance, and other partners on hiring, staffing, performance management, and planning decisions.
- Present concise readouts and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Own ad hoc research and special projects that improve operating leverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1+ years of professional experience in business analytics, business operations, consulting, workforce or operations analysis, or growth and operations strategy.
- 1+ years of experience building and owning analytical models, trackers, or operating systems in Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.
- Experience with forecasting, capacity planning, workforce analytics, or performance metrics.
- Statistical or analytical experience with cohort analysis, regression, time-series analysis, or anomaly detection using Python, R, or similar tools.
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or modern BI workflows.
- Background in high-growth technology, marketplace or staffing operations, data labeling, human-in-the-loop systems, or consulting.
- Experience presenting insights to non-technical audiences and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Project management experience and ability to drive process change in fast-paced environments.
- Comfort using modern AI tools to accelerate analysis and operational workflow design.
- Weekend work and travel to other SpaceXAI sites may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
- $122,000 - $180,000 USD base salary.
