Principal Business Operations Manager, Ops & AI Tooling
Build and lead the operational tooling strategy for Snowflake’s AI Native Engineering organization, shipping internal systems, workflow automation, integrations, and AI agents. The role requires 7–10+ years in business or operations systems, hands-on automation experience, and strong cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities
- Define and own the operational tooling strategy and roadmap, including intake, prioritization, and release planning.
- Design and build internal tools for business planning and operations in partnership with Business Planning and Commercial Operations.
- Automate staffing, planning, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
- Design and deploy AI agents and generative-AI workflows for anomaly detection, staffing intelligence, predictive forecasting, and automated summaries.
- Architect and maintain integrations and process orchestration across PSA, CRM, planning, and business intelligence systems.
- Drive tooling adoption, establish standards, measure usage, retire redundancy, and improve the operator experience.
- Advise operations leadership, Enterprise Technology, and Data, Analytics & AI teams on tooling and automation; translate business needs into scalable systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience for IC4 or 10+ years for IC5 in business operations, operations tooling/systems, revenue operations, or professional services operations, with a strong build orientation.
- Proven experience designing and shipping internal operational tools, workflow automation, or agentic/AI workflows.
- Hands-on automation and integration experience with systems such as Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Smartsheet, and BI tools.
- Comfort using SQL and coding or coding agents to solve problems.
- Fluency with generative AI and large language models for automating operational workflows and accelerating insight generation.
- Expertise in workflow design, systems architecture, and data governance.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to influence without authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $176,000–$231,000.
